The last 23 march 2017 Entity Elettronica, active since 1989 in the field of electronic design and manufacturing, celebrated the important milestone of the "1.500 custom projects" developed over the last 12 years.

EUROCUCINA 2016: ARCLINEA CHOOSES ENTITY

POLARIS is an experiment developed by a team of students of the University of Padova (Italy).
The project – acronym for Polymer-Actuated Radiator with Independent Surfaces – is a tech demonstrator based on a new concept of heat radiator.

The Polaris project has been selected by the European Space Research and Technology Centre (ESTEC) to participate in the program REXUS / BEXUS coordinated by the European Space Agency (ESA) in collaboration with the German Aerospace Center (DLR) and the Swedish Space Agency (SNSB). This initiative is designed to enable students of European universities to carry out scientific and technological experiments on stratospheric balloons and rockets.
From the 3rd to the 13th of october, after a long journey that has led the team in Scandinavia, Polaris has been launched on the huge stratospheric balloon BEXUS -18, 14 feet in diameter, taking off from the base Esrange in Sweden, 150 km in the north of the Arctic Circle.

In Italy it is very difficult to find funds for this kind of iniziatitives and Entity has been pleased to finance and support this ambitious project. Congratulations guys!

22/10/2013 - AUTOMATED ASSEMBLY OF FRAEN LENSES FOR LED PCB
In order to provide products and services ever more efficient, Entity Elettronica is pleased to announce the adoption of a new technique that allows the automated assembly of Fraen lenses which will applied to LED electronic boards. The assembly of lenses (to direct the light produced by the LED) on LED PCB, up to now was a very long and delicate process because, for some technical peculiarities, had to be done manually by qualified personnel. Thanks to the collaboration with Fraen, leading company in the sector of lenses for LEDs, and the introduction of a new range of lenses that can be mounted on PCB with a special glue, we will be able to switch from manual to automated assembly. This represents an important breakthrough that brings significant benefits in terms of costs and services: faster production cycles, significant reduction in production costs, short delivery time, high production capacity and a higher quality and accuracy of the collimation between the lens and LED. Another manifestation of an ongoing commitment by the Company to provide the best light quality at the best price/quality ratio.

17th and 18th of September. A new identity for Entity!

To present the new catalogue 2022, Entity relaunches its brand identity by exploiting a play on words and symbols that embody the essence of the brand.

Ecodesign | EPREL.

 

The European Union has introduced new Ecodesign regulations which involve the lighting sector too; the least energy efficient lamps will be gradually phased out starting from 01/09/2021.

All the relevant information for all the light sources on the market will be centralized on the EPREL database (EU Product Database for Energy Labeling), established with the dual purpose of being used by the supervisory authorities for market surveillance activities and making publicly available the list of compliant products.

The collaboration between Entity Elettronica and Cà Foscari University of Venice for the realization of an unconventional "corporate storytelling" video has led to the birth of "The magic screen", an audiovisual production created by students of the 2013-14 class of the 1st level of Discipline of production and communication for the cinema, audiovisual and digital media.

This experience has led to an evolution and to an inter-university master, presented during the Venice Film Festival on Saturday, the 30th of aug 2014.

Postponed: Light+Building 2020 to be held in September. Soon our novelties!

In view of the increasing spread of the coronavirus in Europe and after intensive consultations, Messe Frankfurt has decided to postpone Light + Building. The world’s leading trade fair for lighting and building-services technology will now be held in Frankfurt am Main between the middle and end of September 2020.
